I had a smear test today and the nurse told me I had a retro cervix and I was wondering could anyone tell me anymore info on what that is as the nurse never explained it Thanks

Ah nothing to worry about, I also have a tiltted uterus, as does my mom and grandma…and I’m expecting my first baby and everything is going just fine. It just means it leans back towards your spine more then towards your naval, one in every three to five women have a tilted uterus, it may make it a tad bit harder to get pregnant, and when you do they may not beable to hear the heartbeat as early. No big deal, don’t worry about it…and infact it has become so common that most doctors don’t even mention it anymore.
