got any that I probably have the ingredients for?
In general, pasta is chock-full of carbos - that's what it basically consists of. (But of course people can lose weight on all sorts of diets.)
For a low-carb diet, focus on vegetables and fruits, plus some lean meat and fish. Avoid things made of flour, and go light on the potatoes. Eggs are fine, in moderation
So - surely you've got some vegetables in the house? Try making a BIG salad with everything you can find - not just the typical salad things like tomatoes, cucumbers and lettuce, but all kinds of vegetables. If you chop them fine, almost any vegetables can be eaten raw in a salad . Add some yoghurt or a low-calorie dressing (and me, I sprinkle on lots of shredded onion)... and enjoy.
ps - if you think it's too cold for salads, ANY dish with plenty of vegetables, plus meat/fish, and few starches (like potatoes, bread or rice) will be low-carb. Just watch out for heavy sauces made with flour (like regular white sauce)... and of course, take it easy on the sugars.
But are you sure you want a low-carb diet? Carbohydrates like those found in most pasta are slow-release energy that keeps you feeling full for a long time...
pasta isnt low in carbs. pasta IS carbs child.
