Should I take an EPT?

I am three days late but think I started my period today. I am bleeding lightly (red not brown) w/ major cramp. However, I am three days late, have very sore breasts, and am totally repulsed by the smells of my husband’s meatballs (that I normally love). Should I take an EPT even though I am bleeding? When should I take one?

Are you spotting or is it a flow? (Sounds gross but…) If you’re not spotting, most likely you’re not pregnant. I would wait to see what happens with your period, and if it stops, take a test.

If you’re spotting you could be pregnant, many woman experience light spotting in early pregnancy, the problem is the cramping. If it gets worse, go see a doctor…it could be a number of things, but it could also just be your period coming late and it hurting a little more then normal because it was in there longer, especially if your period is like clock work
