Should I Join Active Army?
im 17 and I cant decide if I want to join active or reserves.. Well actually I’ve always wanted to join active but my family dont want me too, because ill have to move away..they keep giving me a hard time about it and act like they are mad at me…Shoulld I go ahead and join active because thats what I always wanted to do..or what??? PLEASEEE HELPPP MEEE..(lol)
DO what YOU want to do, not what other people want you to do. I have a friend who was in the army and he said that it was a great experience, but its not for everyone and my mum was in the reserves and she said it was great and kept you really fit, but the army is not for everyone.
Personally, I’m going to join the reserves to see what it is like then I might join the army if I like it otherwise I’m gonna go in the Navy. Go Navy! :)
Im not going to lie to you! the military is great for some people but not for others. Dont buy into the propaganda. You wont actually know what its like unless you find out for yourself. If you fell though that that is what you want to do, dont let anyone stop you! However I think you should get some college in before joining so that you can start out at a higher rank than private. its not fun being the lowest on the list especially if you are someone who likes to speak their mind!
well I wouldn’t say they mad
but more worry or sad that your leaving. as hard as it pain them to see you go. you must follow your dream. and if the army is where your dream and heart at. so for all means go for it.
