Where can one have any luck whatsoever finding employment while serving a short diversion and one-year probation for a first time offense?

As long as you don’t have a sex offender label, and can make yourself look nice, you can probably get on at any large retail company. Like Wal-Mart, Best-Buy, etc, as well as any resturaunt.

I am in the same boat you apply anyway and answer all questions on application but for now go to an agency they dont do background checks I am with an agency now over 3 months…if the place I work at hires me off the agency I am screwed cause there will be a security check at the place I work at so I am screwed there…but you try anyway let me know what happens I still have over a year probation what did you do…
