Is it possible to use a home pregnancy test for humans to test for pregnancy in dogs?
No you can not use human home pregnacy test. However a vet can confirm it by doing a dog pregnacy test, Palpating the dog, ultra sound, or depending how far into gestation they can do x-ray
The hormone that the HPT detects is called Human Chorionic Gonadotropin…dogs don’t have this hormone…so…while it may not be entirely impossible, it is unlikely.

I don’t know - I’ve been wondering the same thing. But if I do it I’m going to put a test strip in a disposable diaper (swiped from my 1 yr old niece) and put the diaper on her.
