prozac isnt for first time trials, unless someone in your family did well on them…you need to try something lighter, such as Citalopram

the only reason I got put on prozac just so all of you know was because my mom and grandma took it

In general, yes, but it depends on the patient and how they react to Prozac in particular.

Side effects may include: Abnormal dreams, abnormal ejaculation, gas, headache, impotence, insomnia, itching, loss of appetite, nausea, nervousness, rash, sex-drive changes, sinusitis, sleepiness, sore throat, sweating, tremors, upset stomach, vomiting, weakness, yawning && Blahhh lol

there are always side effects to anything… actually I think one of the side effects are depression worsening… youll just have to ask your doctor

It didn’t work for me… I slept about 2 hours a night, wouldn’t eat, headaches, VERY moody for no reason, and extremely depressed… I would talk to a psychiatrist and have them evaluate you to decide what the best medicine would be. Doctors just prescribe any depression pill, psychiatrists will know what medicine would suit you better. =)
