the healthiest way to sleep is on your back stiff as a board, but obesity complicates this due to sleep apnea and collapsation of the airway, which can cause death. you would have to train your body to sleep like that though.
Hmmm... I normally go with the starfish position, and that's basically all spread out on my bed like a starfish... I sleep well like that, but everyone's different. You may just have to try out different things.
you may have to get a new box spring mattress or a mattress or both. my husband and i just replaced ours and our backs are finally feeling better, but we're higher off the floor which kinda scares me
If that happens much, you'd better go to a doctor to have your cholesterol checked since one of the symptoms is having back and neck pain in the morning.
My dad has back problems and his phisiotherapist told him to sleep on his back or on his sides with a pillow between his knees. Never sleep on your tummy!
Sleep on your back or on your stomach works for me :D
or get those air beds or tempur pedic ones, if your spring bed is causing your problems...
Yay the stomach trick :D lol or get a new bed lol but no metal inside of it i have a Sultan bed its the bed to squishy and soft :P
I used to get pains in my back as well from sleeping on my side but sleeping on my stomach seems to have done the trick.
Sleeping on your back is a better posture like way to sleep, other than on your side ;3
If you sleep on your side with a pillow between your legs it helps a ton.
