How do you know if you're popular?

When you have a lot of friends, everybody knows your name, you’re one of the first to know about parties, stuff like that. Trust me- if you’re popular, you know it.

i think the phrase “popular” is overrated . but when i was in school it had to do with how much money your parents had, what brands you wore etc., what parties you went too.

For my school there really was no popular, there were just the partiers, the fobs, the hippies and the normal kids. The partiers were generally treated better but they weren’t considered popular.

Pick up a copy of mean girls, watch a few times, take notes, then you shall have the knowledge of being popular bestowed upon you.

thats what i’m saying but like people with lower income parents that couldn’t afford the best considered those kids popular. i always looked at them the same way i would anyone. i didn’t look at the brands of clothes that ppl were wearing or care to hear about their crazy parties over the weekend.

You will know if you are, they are the people that everyone knows, everybody wants to know the gossip about them, and you will hear information about them first. You’ll get invited and know about the parties and group get togethers. Alot of times they are the best dressed, prettiest they have money.. well their parents do. designer clothes and bags, nice expensive cars. The hottest guys are usually the popular ones and the jocks(football players). When you have to vote for homecoming king and queen, they will be on the list.

there is no “popular” once you hit high school its just a matter of how you perceive yourself and the way you act towards other people. in middle school i wasnt as you would say “popular’ but when i got into high school i made friends with everyone. The cute jocks, the girls with nice clothes, the band players, the nerds. i was friends with EVERYONE. everyone knew my name becuase i was nice and had a nice personality and people just liked to be around me. dont try to impress anyone. just be yourself.

If you have good true friends, being popular is meaningless

Varies,if your online and have more friend online then in real life then you got a prob..but if in ur real life you have friends and are popular then your lucky and should be the life of the party.You get invited to there family stuff,parties,and even the little things that most don’t care for.if they show you there part of there life and care then those are friends,does not matter if there online bc,you will never have that connection like in person.

Honestly, you’re better off not knowing, so it won’t go to your head and change the way you act around people. Just be yourself and you’ll be just fine. If you have a group of friends, and no enemies, that’s all you really need.

Easy, u are in a clique or u are the leader on ur clique, u are cool, u have the best clothes, u are a GEE(Girl Everybody Envies), pretty, Everybody knows u and boys fall 4 u (especially nerds or weirdos)

Hey, I wouldn’t be so sure…I never thought I was popular until one day some dude clump me in with the “popular crowd”…kinda funny though since they all hate me.
