Of course you should go…next week at this time, you won’t even remember going…buck up, doing the right thing isn’t usually the easiest thing.

listen your mom has done a lot for you for example your here so you could do this for her feel the uncomfort and then you can go home when its over and no matter what you chose to believe nobody is going to judge you try and have fun and if you dont just do it for your mother

Believe me, nobody there is going to be focused on you, so just dress up as best you think you can and go - it’s not the end of the world.

I think you should go… you family should always come first… and if its that important you should go. :)

Its good to get out of the house. and I mean if its your mom’s FrIeNd then obviously there not the young judgmental crowd you have to deal with while in school. I would go if I were you, show that you care that her surgery went well. and please your mom. who knows.. you might even have fun ;)

Oh my dear! You’ll be ok! You should never feel like you have to stay in doors becaue you’re insecure about your looks for ANY reason. People may be cruel but dealing with it only makes you stronger. I think you should go and try and forget about your insecurities and have a wonderful time. :)

I think the reason why your mum wants you to go there is that, she knows how tough her friend has been thru, and she wants people to come to her friend and say, she’s loved and appreciated being soo alive and a survivor…

I think you should go for the fact that it is a celebration of life and opportunities… you’ll never know, you might have the best time of your life by going on to that party your mum is talkin about…

No doubt your Mom has done TONS for you - it won’t kill you.
