Twilight mom is right.

Don’t stress about it. You period can anything from 2 - about 5 years to regulate and skipping periods within that time is totally normal. Relax about it, you could see a doctor if you want to but I seriously wouldn’t be worrying about it if I were you.

This is rather normal sweetheart, it can take 3-5 years (sometimes longer) for your hormones and body to straighten itself out and your periods to become normal. So, what you are going through does not necessarily mean its a bad thing. (; your other girlfriend who have had it every single mth for 2-3 years probably wish this would happen to them!! Sure, you start to feel more grown up once you first start your period and feel like its a big thing, but trust me once it becomes regular—u will probably be wondering why it couldn’t go away again!!

So. Give it time, and next time you see your Dr for a checkup just mention it to them if you still haven’t had another period by then. They may refer you to a gynecologist to see what’s going on. That’s no big either! Just another man/woman with a degree in medicine! (; So sit back, relax. And enjoy this while it lasts!! (;
