Canal Walk is a much larger mall, the shops sell literally anything you can think of, so you will be able to do some serious shopping there. It has LOTS of entertainment, and has endless restaurants. It is trendier and has a friendlier vibe than the waterfront. Outside is also a theme park which has the best rides! (Ratanga Junction). The waterfront is known to be much more expensive. It is more ‘posh’, the parking is triple that of canal walk. I live closer to the waterfront, but i prefer to go to canal walk. So i would definitely say it is better to shop at Canal walk.
