I’d agree with the above - money is hard to come by and its almost impossible for high risk borrowers. If you have equity in your home, you can borrow against that, but it’s not a quick process. You still have to convince the bank you’re capable of making the payments.

Unsecured lines of credit are extremely high interest. (like credit cards). And nowadays, miss a payment on your credit card and watch the interest rate shoot right up until you’ve paid on time for 6 months without fail.

Don’t do it, its like robbing peter to pay paul only with lots of interest. The only tried and true method is to sell something at the local pawn shop. You won’t get what its worth and it will be twice as much to buy back but at least you will get the cash you need.
