Does anyone on here celebrate anything other than Christmas? like Hanukkah or Kwanzaa or something?
yule- pagan/ wiccan sacred day (sabbat) december 22.
christians chose to place "christmas" in this time frame because people had already been celebrating a "holiday"- one more pagan practice assimilated by christianity.
modranacht- "mother night" a time for reflection and awakening from darkness- the return of the sun and light.
yule is my sacred day as well.
Me being jewish among my other ancestoral backgrounds I celebrate hanukkah and christmas
