No direction

Ok so im 18 and im nearly finished high school, but I have no direction as to where my life is going.. I dont knoow what I want to do and im just scared I become a drop out. Carreers advisors ask me what do I like, and all I can say is I dont know because I really dont.. what am I supposed to do?

Maybe take a year off and look at different things you want to do or things that seem interesting to you. go to a univercity on a tour and look a the different courses which are offerd also what are you good at doing? maybe that can be a guideline to what you can go study. You dont necasarily need to go to college or university you could work and see where it leads you from there. :) Im sure your not the only person out there with this question.

ahhh you sound just like me. I have NO direction whatsoever, either! don’t sweat it though; I did but then got over it because 18 is still so young. just because you and I have no idea what we want to do or what we like doesnt mean we wont be successful. maybe you could do what me and plenty of other kids are doing as well ;

I am going to community college to get my basics. it will give me 1 or 2 extra years to think about what I want to do and in the process expose me to some things I’ve never even thought I’d be interested in before. I’ll also meet tons of new people who might influence me on what I would like to go into. plus, community college is a whole lot cheaper than going to a university!
