new boyfriend, ex being off?

right last night this boy asked me out, I like him but I still liek my ex a bit, we have a massive history and my ex is also this boys mate, he said to me to say yes and I just asked him if there was ever another chance we’d get back together, cause our last break up was pretty hard since we didnt speak for two days then he finished me

anyway he said he didnt know so I thought why should I wait around for him when theres this other guy that likes me, so I said yes and today my ex was winding me up about teh fact I was holding his hand, then he rang me after school and asked me to go play tennis so I said okay for a bit and I went and after a bit he started being off with me cause I let his other mate have my phone but theres a password on it so he wasnt even on it, then he wouldnt give me a drink so I said im going home and he rang my friend and her cousin and told them to come play and I dont like them, he knows that, so I went home

after I said yes to this guy my bestfriend said to him how come you told beth to say yes? I thought you liked her, and he said I do but ohwell, I was so upset he didnt tell me cause well I dont know
