Why does my modem keep losing connection to the internet?

Why my modem it does stop blink the four lights by itself and then turn on the lights by itself and I loose conection to the Internet? Do you think I have to buy another modem. Please help me thank you.

probably because it is malfunctioned, this generally happens when either one of the connections DTE/DCE gets down, you may try to restart it to get it work again.

turn off the button, wait for 30 seconds and turn it on again. If it doesn’t work you need to replace it.
