How do you measure your waistline?

I’m unsure of how to measure my waistline is it around my stomach, around my hips, I’m so confused! How do you measure you waistline? Where from?

Answer #1

Your waistline is usually a hand’s width down from your belly button. This is slightly above your hip bones. The easy way to tell would be to put on a comfortable pair of pants that don’t have a “low waist” and go by the feel.

Answer #2

You measure your waistline at the level of the navel (or right above your hip bone) whichever is easier for you. You just stand and breathe normally (don’t try to suck it in to look trimmer:). You can read much more about waistline measurement and health benefits if you google “waistline measurement”.

Answer #3

I think that , real waistline is midway between end of rib cage and superior iliac crest in midaxillary line so, I think that distance between that is 8 cm , so at 4 cm above iliac crest or 4 cm down rib , so some difference from one person to other, thanks
