how many nights will you have candles to burn?

One whole candle can be made from 4 candle stubs, left in the candle-holder after the candles burn down. If each candle burns down to a stub after one night and if you have purchased 16 candles, then for how many nights will you have candles to burn?

dont listen to this guy… cause he obviously doesn’t know math either… its 21 days 16 candles burnt would make 16 stubs… since 4 stubs make 1 candle devide 16 by 4 which is 4.. since it took 16 days to burn those 16 and then 4 to burn the others its 20. but then you have to add the stub of the 4 together to make 1 more candle which takes 1 more day which equals to 21.. trust me on this
