Loratab abuse

I had to take one of the strongest Loratabs there was and it just made me feel sick.

Why do people abuse it?

If you can help, thanks.

Loratab is an opiate. Some people do not have the biology that allows opiates to bond in the brain to give the normal euphoric effect. I listen to Loveline, hosted by a very well known board certified internist and addiction specialist named Dr. Drew (Pinsky) who has a similar reaction to opioids. He says that they make him feel very sick, to the point when he had some surgery done he just didn’t take any … until the pain was so bad that he began thinking suicidal thoughts, so he quickly decided to put up with the nausea to dull the pain.

So in short, some people just do not have the biology for Loratab to be effective, and thereby be addictive. My uneducated guess is that other opiates won’t work on you either … but don’t experiment. ;) Good Luck!!

I just had gall bladder surgery and my doctor prescribed Loratab for me also. I also get nausiated when I take it and it also make me have really bad nightmares. I would just rather not take it and deal with the pain! Lol.
