im a recovering Self injurer and i know exactly what you mean. I get angry or i get sad then everything just goes numb and i have bad impulse control it is an addiction and I just have to work through my feelings listen to them acknowledge them, but dont think that means you have to follow through with them, just sit and breath and they eventually go away
Because like dr*gs and alcohol its an addiction. Have you talked to a counseloor about this? If you need to talk i am a recovering addict from d*ugs but i also used to cut and i know what it feels like to still get urges and be triggered. Please feel free to funmail me dear...you can recover and beat this.

You can beat the urge, but only it if you really really want to. You can help fight the urge, by not associating yourself with things that bring out the urge (easier said then done, but definitely still doable)

The urge to what.....that would make a huge difference inthe answers you get and how they can help you dear.
