How long is it until a case is considered a "cold case"?

Depends on the case. Sometimes it is considered cold when no witnesses, no evidence, no more follow ups from the complaint. At least 3 years perhaps. But if your lawyer is good enough a cold case can be pursued. http://funadvice.com/r/1630q50018h
