How long will I bleed for?

Last night i had sex for the first time, and after i found that i was bleeding, i shrugged because its normal. I went to bed and just woke up and am still bleeding a bit How long will I bleed for?

Uhmmm,,,, It was either a poppd cherry. OR you had sex right before u started your period.? Im guessing the period is the most realistic, because you bleed for however many days your cycle is .

Some women will have some bleeding almost every time they have sex. It has to do with the lining of their vagina being friable (easily damaged). IF this is what you have, some birth control pills can improve this, some can make it worse. Usually higher estrogen pills make it better. Also if you are on certain birth control methods, prolonged bleeding is normal (then it quits altogether.) Now that you are active you might consider making an appointment with an ObGyn for a general exam. Good Luck!!
