When I go and get my lip pierced, can I request studs instead of rings?

At least that is what the professionals told me, if they tell you otherwise, they are most likely not going to be the best place to get it done.,

I’m getting spiderbites… And I know that they let a friend of mine get studs instead of rings on her snakebites.

Well, if they allow it then fine. I was just told this from professionals when I got my snakebites.

If they let a friend of yours get them, and you already know that they will do it, why are you asking us whether or not they will?

You’re gonna have to wait for it to heal most likely.

when you first get your lip pierced they give you a stud so it will heal properly, after it heals you can change it to whatever you like

yes when you get it pierced you can request either a ring or labret (the proper name for the “stud”). keep in mind they usually put a much longer labret in than nedded to allow for the swelling, and it might loook silly sticking out so much but you should wait 3 months aftre that to allow it to heal before changing it

it SHOULD be done with a stud any way .. rings are to unsanitary for a fresh piercing.. if they try to do it with a ring .. walk out and go else ware
