Ok I need help! I download my music through limewire, and after I put them on my itunes, I delete the songs from limewire so it doesnt slow down my computer...This has worked over the last 4 years (itunes saved the songs somehow) but NOW if I delete a song from limewire that was put in my itunes, a gray exclamation point goes by the song and says it now cannot locate the song... im sure itunes got smart and changed something but now like 4000 of my songs have a ! by them and I cant play music from my library anymore...I deleted them in the first place because it would slow down my computer... is there a setting I can change, or what!! HELP me please!!
ok, once the song is downloaded from limewire, click on the song and click explore. then it will show up in a window along with other songs you have downloaded from limewire. click on the song in the new window, and drag it into your itunes library. the ! will show up next to the song, click on the !. it will ask you if you want to locate the file, and click yes. then the window with all your downloaded songs should show up and when you find it, click on it. if the window doesnt show up, search all your files for the song.
