What is life as a foster kid like?
Im a foster kid so i can tell you from experience. Its not a very different lifestyle than having any ordinary family. But your foster parents are usually a bit more stricter. It gets lonely if you dont have many friends or foster siblings in the house. If you live in a bigger town you move around to different homea more often, in a smaller town you can manage to stay in the same home for a few months. Its really hard, just leave it at that.
Some have happy endings, other don’t. My mom works for CPS and sometimes the foster parents are horrible and are only taking in kids for the money. Some kids are abused, sexually and physically, while others just keep jumping from home to home trying to find someone who will take them in permanently…
