How come John Terry hasn't been suspended for racially abusing Anton Ferdinand?

How come John Terry isn’t banned for like 8 games (like Luis Suarez did to Patrice Evra), because he used racist language to Anton Ferdinand? I know he’s on trial in July and he’s lost the England captaincy, but shouldn’t he be banned for using racist language, like Suarez was?

Simple. The FA dealt with the Suarez incident. As you say Terry’s case is going to be dealt with in court as it’s become a police matter. At this point Terry has not been found guilty of anything, legally I very much doubt the FA can suspend him for using racist language when it’s not yet been ‘proven’. Terry would have grounds to take the FA/Premier league to court if they did so.

is it because john terry said something really serious, because i thought luis suarez said it in a non-offensive way.
