If itunes is frozen, you’ll have to force quit the application and restart it.

Do as Jeremy said, my iTunes does that as well. I just force quit, wait a few minutes, and restart it.

After that, it works fine.

I do that every time something freezes for 10 minutes. AWESOME!

…otherwise just right click the task bar and select ‘Start Task Manager’ - Applications - [highlight the applications and press] ‘End Task’
