Is this punishment fair?

3 kids at my school decided to tp our principal’s house and pour syrup on his car now I know thats wrong but monday at school they got suspended for 3 days, one of the boys smiled and they all three got 2 more days this was all from something done outside of school, if it was outside of school the school rules say they cant be punished so is this fair?

Answer #1

Anywhere it takes place, it’s called ‘Destruction of Property’ - criminal behavour - whoever is rebelling is wrong also.

Answer #2

I dunno it kinda is but at the same time isn’t

Answer #3

NO ITS NOT FAIR BUT HOW THEY KNOW THEY DID IT?BUT IF THAT WAS NOT THEIR PRINCEAPALTHEN ITWAS FAIR BUT SNICE THAT WAS YALL’S PRINCEAPAL THEN ITSNOT FAIR

Answer #4

It is fair. The kids are lucky that instead of the principle calling the police and getting them arrested for destruction of property he only suspended them. ~Alanna

Answer #5

The punishment should have been more than what they got. They should have to help the janitors out at school for a couple of weeks.

Answer #6

they ended up getting 5 days and now almost everyone in my 8th grade is getting suspended because everyone is rebeling and our school, right now, is totally curupt

Answer #7

Yeah, it was fair. Because they did it to the principal, knowing it was the principal, and the principal is something SCHOOL RELATED. And personally, I think only suspending those kids for 3 days was going easy on them.

Answer #8

they were arrested but let go because they’re only 13 and 14

Answer #9

If the rules say you can’t get punished for something outside of school, then it isn’t fair. But it was the principal’s house and car…

Answer #10

Totally fair! They are lucky they were not put in jail!
