Is it wrong to be selfish?

Sometimes I am so overwhelmingly selfish,not material wise,but people wise. I change my mind so much on whether I care about a person or not. Like my mom,or my brother.

ok being selfish in itself is not really wrong, but it depends on how you treat others. You can and should not treat others poorly just becuase you have negative feelings about them. if you are a christian you should know this,. basicly we are to love each other, by this we are to do good and be bice to each other, even if we have negative feelings we are not suppose to act out on them, talk about it yes, but do anything to hurt or be rude to the other person.

naw everyone is, you cant give without taking in teh process in some way or another.

It isnt wrong as such. But thinking in such rigid, black and white terms may be detrimental to your relationships… Most people may not feel the same way consistently about someone (like they may be angry or irritated or happy with the person), but usually their deep down emotions stay the same… no matter what my best friend does, if he is in trouble, and even if we havent talked in weeks, I’ll still be there because I care… and going back and forth between caring about people who are family, may indicate some sort of deeper issue
