Really one week after? I thought you had to wait at least two weeks? Do you know what they did, just normal blood test?

I know someone who found out from their doctor that they were pregnant 1 week after they had sex.

Blood tests will show pos earlier than the otc urine tests, but you would still have to be around 3 weeks pregnant for it to show pos. If you have never seen the GYN before because your periods are irregular, then its probably a good thing you are going now since you insist on having unprotected sex. The doc may put you on the pill to help regulate u, hopefully your mother will insist on it. Maybe that will help keep you from getting preg at least. Too bad there’s still STD’s and HIV/AIDS to worry about.

And if we just had sex a week ago, would it be way to early to get the results? As in to find out if I am pregnant?

Hcg levels will build faster in the bloodstream than in urine definitely, but as for 1 week, I have never heard of that before. But, technology is growing really fast as well. Was your partner a virgin before having sex with u? If not. you may have been together long enough to have had time for SOME STD’s to rear their head, but not all–some can take years to show symptoms. And HIV, def not an early shower. But, if you were both virgins then of course you have nothing to worry about. Right? ( =

Truthfully, only 3 days I would think not. Unless you were preg last mth and the hcg levels weren’t high enough in your urine to show up, because you weren’t far enough along. For an otc urine test, you normally need to be around 3 to 4 weeks pregnant for them to react pos. Did you have any bleeding around 2 weeks after having sex? Like some spotting or anything? That could have been the fertilized egg implanting in the uterine wall. Some women have it and some don’t, I didn’t with my daughter. you know, this is a tough one. When is your appt scheduled, and the day it is scheduled how many days from the last time you had sex will it be? Is it the 3 days you keep saying? Just go on to the appt and explain everything to your Dr and let them do what they can do. Good luck! ( =

Well, No I havent had any bleeding, However we had sex yesterday, and there was a little blood, kinda pink color..and it lasted only two minutes.

The appt is for monday, the 30th..So that is to soon I think, And yea I’ve read up on everything and I know it takes 3-4weeks…So I don’t know what to do lol.

Yeah, the pinkish tinge you had last time was probably just from abrasion of the vaginal wall–in other words kinda like a friction burn but enough to make it bleed a little.

Can I ask a question…are you trying to get pregnant? Why do you continue to have unprotected sex? You don’t sound hysterical like most of the girls who ask if they could be pregnant. Is this kinda like a whatever happens,,,happens situation for you guys? Ok, this is more than 1 question…I’m just a little concerned. Lol, yes we are trying. It’s just kinda a whatever happens. I’m almost 19.. and he’s almost 20.. We have been together for a long time, and getting married soon.my moms fine, just concerned about health, and money lol.

U can’t get pregnant until you ovulate which is what? Geez, can’t remember …7-10 days maybe 14 from the first day of your period. Wow..I need to pull out my maternity book! ( = anybody know so I don’t have to go get it? Haha.

Just dont know when I ovulate, do to irregular periods. My last period was feb 18th, and havent had one for March. I think I might be ovulating right now. but still Think that if I took a blood test monday, it would be negative..since we had sex this week.
