People trying to get with you when you're upset

I was really upset earlier about something to do with an ex and I talked to my friends about it (who are mostly males) and it seemed like their strategy to make me feel better was to hit on me which didn’t help at all.

Does anyone else notice how when you’re sad people just try and get with you to make you happy?

Yeah, I’ve actually noticed that too. I never really thought their main goal was to make you happier though, I always figured it was because guys would think your more vulnurable when your upset, or they have more of a chance. Hahah, and it sucks because that’s the absoulte last thing you want to hear or deal with when your upset. Yeah, I’ve been there. (:

yeah I have had that problem and it sucks!! When you go to them for help and support they just try and hit on you! I just see thoughs people as not my true mates . :)

Well im a guy with a girl friend going away to Pretoria college next year and my girl is a real softy im so scared of loosing her because I know when she is down all the guys will get with her even though I know she loves me im scared its like what guys do.

Well I’m sorry but I don’t want to be the only one and sound like a “liar” but no not at all do I try to hook up with my female friends when they have problems. Honestly I comfort them and try to take them out of their situations for if only a moment to try to make them a little better. Probably your thinking oh this guy is just saying that but I’m being serious. I’ve helped friends with suicide problems, relationship problems, family problems and 99.9999% of the time I at all didn’t think about hooking up after. So there! P E A C E!
