What are some interesting themes you think i could do for my communication studies school based assessment?
I want something that people will be interested to listen to and want to know about, something unusual. Any help please? I really want to do well. I’m not so good when it comes on to creativity. The theme should be wide. Thank you…
I’m not familiar with communication studies does it involve different cultures and how to communicate as well? I might have an idea for you. How long does your presentation have to be?
It involves language and communication. Like how you unteract with different people and stuff like that. Registers, dialect variation, communicative behaviours and such. Know when to use creole and the standard english stuff like that.
The presentation should be 10 minutes
What about you do a study about how people greet in different languages and cultures and what they see as offensive, for example we have a venda culture here where you bow down when greeting your elders and how just saying hi or hello is super offensive. Maybe you can do a study on what is acceptable and offensive in the English language opposed to other cultures. That should be interesting and easy for people to follow.
