Im thinking about running for my class president but im worried about not getting enough signatures to run..//
Im popular but people are much smarter in politics
When I was in school I never ran for anything like class president, so there are many people that can tell you much more than I can. However, there are a few things that I can tell you, and I am speaking from experience. If I could go back to my youth and do my school years over, there is a world full of things that I would do different. If there is anything you want you go for it, don't hesitate. You will not get everything you want, you will not always succeed, but there is one thing for sure, if you don't try you will get nothing. I strongly encourage you to run for class president. You have nothing to be afraid of. If you don't know much about politics you can learn. You had to learn everything else you know, there is no reason that you can't learn about politics. Run a decent campaign, don't bribe people for votes, don't talk bad about your opponent, don't make promises that you can't keep, etc. After doing your best, if you lose it will not be a bad experience at all. Be sure you congratulate the winner. Hold your head high and keep a smile on your face. A lot of people will respect you for running and speaking up for what you believe in. You will have a chance to make some good friends. If you run for class president maybe you will win. If you lose I don't think you will ever regret giving it a try. Good luck to you.
Most political elections are based on popularity...go for it...
Bush proved that a person does not have to be intelligent to hold office...
lol utopia. very encouraging ;)
Try it, you'll never get smart in politics if you don't start somewhere.
just take a chance and run
