It’s strange because when I was in 8th grade back in Los Angeles I hated school so much I never bothered doing the work but I still passed to the 9th,and now in the 10th (I was held back in 9th) I am starting to focus on my work,I finished my essay a few days early, whats up with all of this?

You’re just becoming more mature. My boyfriend went through a similar stage and walked out with the highest grades in the school by end of his matric year. Keep it up It’s something you’ll never regret. :-)

must be maturing. I use to hate school also. but when you think about it, school is the only answer to getting on your feet int eh long run

Hey. I used to be really bad at school, calls home , meetings with headteachers and stuff. But then I relised that would it look good on my c.v if it said expelled or suspended and I knew it wuldnt. so I startwed to buckle down and now im getting great grades , I still ahve a laugh but no when to stop where as I didnt before, I have put it down to maturing and reliasing the facts. Keep it up ,+and well done.

I hated school, too. however, I started cracking down and doing the work because that was the only way out. I didn’t want to drop out; my whole life would be ruined there. so, I buckled down, did the work, and now I’m free! it also depends on certain subjects; I only liked writing. besides that, I focused on the other subjects because I knew if I didn’t, I’d be there forever. my cousin Cecily felt the same way, but she did the same as me.
