I'm So Confused

Ok here’s my problem. My ex has new girlfriend & I’m cool with that. He said he didn’t want to cross the line but he did when he kissed me. I asked him why he kissed me, he replied, “To show there’s nothing there.” I answer, “OMG! You don’t kiss someone just to prove a point. You kiss them because you want to.” So much for crossing the line. What does this mean?

well…if you kiss someone…and you dont feel anything…then there’s nothing there…it’s a pretty easy way to tell if you’re over someone completely…albeit rather spontaneous and possibly controversial
