I'm allergic to anything unnatural

…like man-made stuff so that includes certain fabrics, makeup even and various other stuff. Is there anything out there that combats multiple allergies? xx

It’s the chemicals that’re used in man-made things most of the time. And clothing wise, I don’t know why cotton doesn’t affect me and polyester does, but cotton is natural and polyester isn’t.

Sorry I was snappy, it’s just I’m genuinely allergic/hypersensitive to a lot of things, and I couldn’ t understand why you said it was bull*.

Makeup-wise, I’ve always had this severe rash on my face and about 6 months ago, I found mineral makeup - which is all natural - and since I’ve used that, the rash is tons better. It’s still there, don’t get me wrong, but it’s not bright red and sore any more.

I’m okay with food additives and stuff - the only food I’m bad with is fresh cream - yeurgh! Seems to be just a skin thing. It’s like when I was 5, I was stung by a wasp on my arm - it swelled up to double the size, went bright red and rock hard - another allergy and I suppose that’s natural actually…

It’s mainly material and adhesive that’s the problem because it’s in direct contact with my skin - for sake of an argument, might as well just call me weird lol

Thanks jazlovestoskate, I appreciate the sensible answer, unlike the previous person.

I have been to my doctors and there’s a whole list of stuff I’m allergic to, or have a hypersensitivity of - it just gets frustrating after a while

I can just about avoid most of the stuff it’s just like at work and when I’m out and about - but that’s unavoidable. Just after something that might relieve it?

if you think your allergic to unatural things youll need to go to the doctor theyll be able to see what food, fabric, ect you could be allergic to theres nothing you can do to cure allergies only prevent them so let them do some tests and find out what your allergic to so you can avoid those things

thanks for acknowledging me ;]

anyways. I really don’t think its possible to have an allergy to ‘un-natural’ things. I mean, ok explain this to me if I’m wrong, but man-mad things don’t really have significant differences between natural things. Its not like they secrete this hormone that your body picks up on and says ‘oh that isn’t organic, reject!’… I mean maybee your skin is really sensitive, but that would make it sensitive to all things, not just man-made.

maybee I’m just uninformed so help me understand.

I can’t help having a condition that makes my skin hyper-sensitive. My brother has a severe case of albinism - he can’t even go out in weak sunlight without being coated in a special high factor suncream.

My doctor’s told me I have certain traits of albinism and a severe skin sensitivity. I was born 9 weeks early and they used plasters to stick all the tubing to me, which ripped my skin off.

Put it this way - anything that is found to be naturally occuring (like cotton in fabric) I’m fine with, but anything not natural is a nightmare. If it’s not allergies I’d love to know what it is - that’s what I was diagnosed with
