Spotting when your pregnant is pretty normal, as long as it’s not bright red blood, or a lot of blood. Did you just recently have a pelvic exam? I spotted for 1-2 days every time my doctor did an exam when I was pregnant. If you really concerned though, it never hurts to call your doctor. They are used to worried pregnant women calling, so dont hesitate to ask them.

Call the doctor just to be sure everything is ok but I know with my doctor he always said not to worry about it too much as long as it’s not bright red blood (as mandyloo said).

There are certain things that can cause you to spot…pelvic exams, over excersicing and sex…just to name a few. Try to remember what you were doing before you started spotting (even a day or two before). This might help you to narrow down why you’re spotting…it will also help the doctor to figure out why.

Good luck

ok, what’s the discharge? funmail me if you want…

every pregnancy is very different, I too have 2 children. there are loads of questions. what colour? how far gone are you? is it present with nausea? tonns, but above all, I think you should contact your doctor…

you often get discharge with pregnancy, there is a huge surge of hormones from all over the place, and if you have had two boys, sometimes a girl produces more of a different hormone which could affect it. with my pregnancy I had thrush (never had it before or since) but I got discharge with that.

safest bet is to ring your midwife or maternity unit up, that’s what I’d do. you’re not over reacting, your just being cautious, there’s NOTHING wrong with that :)
