k, so this might sound kind of pathetic but I cant dance. I mean I can do ballet and irish step, and salsa but I cant...grind...don't laugh cause it makes me really self conscience when I go out dancing with my friends. I want to learn how dance in a SEXY way. can anyone please give some tips on how to look HOTT on the dance floor. I dont want to learn anything slutty, but if I could get tips from guys and girls that would great... please help me I need to learn to dance!!

Okay well if you don't want to dance slutty, maybe you should try a little step away from grinding.
Grinding is putting your rear end right up in someone elses (or letting them butt bump you) and moving your hips in a sexual way. If you like that, feel free, but dont fee like you have to be against someone. Dancing NEXT to people is fine too! The same thing, but not on someone.
Okay so to grind, I guess, just plant your feet about shoulder width apart (not really neccessary just whatevers comfortable.) Next, bend your knees and move your hips in a circle. I don't know how to explain it but maybe move up and down as you're moving your hips. It takes a lot of practice, but funmail me with more questions about it, im here to help!
I think its stupid if people would make fun of you for it or anything, because you shouldn't feel self concious. We have many clubs out here and dancing places, so maybe if you can get to those, practice there and watch other people doing it.
And to look hott on the dance floor, strut the stuff i told you, and put and arm up in the air, or rough your hair up as you're dancing... its sexy!

okay, you wanted to learn how to dance... I'll teach you how to dance.
if you want to dance with a guy, strut towards him, swinging your hips loosely, since you dance, you've got rythm. the other thing you need is confidence -- to dance sexy, you must feel sexy -- so once you have that, swing your hips side to side. get closer and put your arms up as if you are realy enjoying this (which you will). then, swiver your butt in a circular motion with the occasional "look back giving a sexy, eye-contact glance" and continue. if he likes it he will pull you closer, dont be scared just go with it. if you are dancing against him, follow his rythm/pattern as if you are copying the same steps.
**when looking on youtube, try not to look at the over-the-top slutty dances - you want to have fun, not get an ego. GOOD LUCK!

Calm down for a starter lol!!! it will all come in time! you can obv dance hence the ballet... so you have rythm which is always a gd start... some people dont even have that! before i started doing ballet and salsa, tap and jazz i used to dance like out with my friends at clubs... and grinding is the best type of dancing! Dont be worried... Let yaself go... honestly. Like any other dance you havr to feel the music, the atmosphere... Make sure you feel sssooo sexy in ur appearance and u will feel sexy dancing. Its all from ur hips to ur shoulders... grindin is makin sexy moves! Watch some music Videos and pic up some Moves of there!

all I can say I lokk @ youtube.com (booty poppin) (new orleans bounce) (back that thang up) thosse are few things you can type in da search box. and just feel confortable wit wateva you do. dont tightn up yo butt (dont use yo butt muscle 4 nuthin just use hips and thighs and feet) and try dancin 2 songs that dont have words just a fast beat and bounce yo booty 2 da beat 1st start off wit a slo beat den take it faster and faster that get you use 2 bouncin yo butt fast if you try dis please let me know if it helped you so that I can also help othas who ask 4 similar advise...kudos
Omg.. I had the same problems when I first started dancing. Well what I did was other than taking classes I would jsut practice in my room dancing to many types of songs. And I know what you mean grinding is really weird.. so all I can say is dont do that if it makes you feel stupid or anything. The most improtant thing for a women is to move the hips, that is the easiest and most efftive dance move for any women. Believe me. So just practice, be your self and have fun. I think that he does like you. he is just finding a way to get close to you. and because he already has a girlfriend he cant just talk to. but if he flirts a lot with other girls and he is doing this with you then he is probably not a good boyfriend I mean why would he do this to his girlfriend. so I wouldnt suggest you dating him.

Ok, instead of grinding try sandwich! its fun and its not so sexual. plus, I suggest you go on UTUBE and look at some people dancing and use those when you go dancing or watch your friends when they dance and steal some of their moves except twist them in to your thing.

dun worry my friend y not u go to youtube.com and watch some of rnb dance and slowly learn from that or maybe u can go 4 clubbing and watch how others people dance.. i'm a dancer too but i am more to shuffling... practise makes perfect...
i'm a pretty good dancer so maybe i can help. stay cool and try to copy some one you see dancing the wayy you want to. but dont pay to close attention to the other person act like you're the shizz lol it'll all come together. =]
BE CONFIDENT! your facial expressions and the ability to look carefree while keeping time is the sexiest thing a person can do on the dance floor. if u look like ur enjoying urself then the people around u will think thats sexy

Well to look sexy you don't absoulutly have to "grind" on the dance floor.In fact some people find this very disrespectful & grinding makes you look like you don't care what others think or feel.
