Would it be plagerising to copy song lyrics?

I want to learn some songs by hart would it plagerising if I write the lyrics down to learn them whitout asking the one who wrote them?

If your just writing them down, then I say no its not because your not trying to take credit for their work.

its only plagarism if you took them and passed the recorded song off as your own work.

Lol I hope not because I’ve done that before to songs that I like. But since your not trying to pass them off as your own or anything, then you should be fine.
