a good way to get your hair to grow is to keep it still..what I mean is braids full head weaves are good for that, less perms and a little wild growth helpsits an oil that only requires 3 drops a wk it comes in a white bottle red cap its 8 dollars, I put a full head weave in my hair(I do hair) trimmed my ends and maintained it didnt wash it and kept rebraiding every 3 wks for a month my perm grew out and I went from above ear length to past shoulder length in 5 months

Um black and for me,my hair doesnt grow that fast either,im the type of person who like to keep my appreance up(not concieted just confident)and I ALWAYS get my hair done.when my hair gets old I take it out and get it done over again…n-e who,I stopped getting stuff glued in ma head because ah figured out fa me ma hair just don’t grow,so ah started gettn it braided a lot,I’ve tried micr-braids but,the person put nail glue and ma hair and it didnt grow fa me b-because,an guess she had put the glue on ma hair, then I tried kinky twist, that made my hair grow, but yew can tell when dem joints need to b takin out, then I had got a SOW-IN.I really like it b-because itz really long lastin and if your hair gets nappy you cant reall tell b-because the weave is covering it,my 1st 1,I had and 4 3 months,my hair was barely touching my shoulders now it touches my back,I got another sow-in,but this time I got a recent perm and I got my ends cut,so that my hair doesnt break off when I take it out,A SOW-IN REALLY WORKS!

The key is to keep your scalp moisturized. some peoples hair is dryer than others so you may need to grease it more ofter. Also, its ok to get sow in or glue, you just have to know how to tke it out properly. make sure its done right and if you leave it in for a good while then tke it out wash yur hair and get it back in, your hair will grow healthier and thicker. Keep your hands out your head, if you like to play with your hair or you mess in it a lot, get a hair style that will disable you from doing so. Perms are ok if your hair can handle it. I use to use child perms so it isnt as harsh on my hair, and I made sure I always greased my hair and washed it every 2 weeks. after that my hair started getting extremely thick. before I knew it my hair was healthy and thick, not until then, did I start growing long and quick.

The best way for hair to grow for an African-American is to keep it natural and trimmed. It will grow faster this way.

Also, if you do get a weave, I would say not to get a glue-in because the glue on your hair will break it apart when you take it out. I personally know a few ladies who have gotten a weave sown-in correctly and after about a year of getting weaves, their natural hair is really long so a sow-in is okay (just make sure you get a stylist who knows what they’re doing.

Honestly, keeping a relaxer in your hair stumps hair growth unless long hair is strongly hereditary. But even still, the chemicals just aren’t good for your hair so I would say stick to getting it pressed. If you absolutely feel you need a relaxer, try to get one that is mild and leave it in their just long enough to get a wave, and not bone straight. This way moisture from heat and humidity will give you a soft curl instead of tight ones and your hair will be in a healthier state. Hope this helps:)

It grows really fast if you keep it natural… If you have to… put it in a cute fro or something… perms aren’t very good for growing hair.. perms are for people with strong, long hair who want it straight… I’m black and my hair is a very good grade and is a little pass my shoulders… it works.. it just takes time… also drink a lot of water and take vitamins like Biotin… its the best. Also leave your hair alone… dont constantly mess with it just let it be.. and braids ar the best for growing, but make sure they aren’t too tight. Also stay away from tracks and sew-ins… they may look cute but when you take them out you will see a lot of damage.. Thats all hope this helps you out Sista…

wash your hair every day , scrub good, and comb hair all day every day. IN A MONTH OR 2 MEASURE YOUR YOU’LL SEE AN IMPROVEMENT!!!

Answer #10

The market is flooded with hair products that promise faster hair growth. Don’t get attracted to such products and choose your hair care products wisely. Not all hair care products will suit your hair type. So, it is important that you always buy products according to your hair type. Well, the good part is that there are also natural hair care products which are chemical free and safe for your hair.
