How to lose weight when you have a back injury and cannot work out?

I have a herniated disk in my L5 (lowest) and my therapist says I cannot work out for this recent week, and possibly the next. I have wanted to lose like five pounds, but this stopped me. How can I maintain my weight, or keep losing?

Answer #1

to maintain your weight, just make sure you drink HEAPS of water. not too much though lol, about 9 glasses day. and go to the bathroom often, dont put it off. eat fresh foods, not processed foods. and cut your portions a bit as you shouldnt excersise.

I wouldnt do any excersises until you are given the all clear by your doctor. you could damage yourself more and never be able to excersise again!
