How to lose weight for a 13 year old?

I am trying to lose some weight about 15 pounds.for my baseball tryouts but I just can not lose th pounds

people that are telling her that losing weight is bad its not im 12 and I weigh almost 130 and I know thats not normal for someone my age. you do need to care about your weight cause sooner or later you may become over weight or obeyss so those of you that are sayin dont worry about your weight you guys are stupid. im not saying that you should go take presciptions to lose fat,or starve urself, no that would just screw your life up. but I am saying that your weight is important and not something you just leave behind my grandma died of not caring about her weight she died from obeyssity.so here:

  1. workout work out your stamina a bit and the faster your heart rate the better.
  2. you should eat healthy but also have a little dessert sometime 3.this was my biggest problem dont eat after 8 or 9 4.if sometimes you get hungry just drink water or have a little mint(s)nuts are very good cause may add calories but it fills you up quickly 5.DO NOT STARVE YOURSELF, BAD BAD BAD BAD 6.WHEN YOU LOSE WEIGHT TELL OTHER PEOPLE TO SUPPOERT YOU IN IT 7.make fun out if losing weight dont be all stressed about it

dont listen to these people telling you to count calories for christ sake you’re only 13 and you dont need to worry about this, and thats how I ended up with an eating disorder which is FAR from glamourous anyway your body counts calories for you by telling you when you are full, all you need to worry about is not over eating. drink lots I mean LOTS of water do random sprints a couple of times a week (you will train your body into thinking it needs to be thin and lean enough to escape from predators, true fact, look up ‘the Gabriel Method’ on youtube) eat more protein than carbs lots of fresh (raw) fruit and veg and eat a BIG breakfast… then gradually lessen your intake throughout the day

dont diet sweetheart studies have proven that you put your body into starvation mode and as soon as you eat a piece of cake you will infact store it better do it the slightly longer, healthier way if you want life long results :)

You are growing, your body needs food. I don’t think you should lose weight but instead, try to work out and build up your endurance so you can perform better in sports. If you lose weight, all you gonna get is weakness, hunger, and low stamina. You WANT those staminas to compete and to win. Trust me, working out and eating right will boost up so many aspects of your life and in time, your will lose weight without having to torture yourself. Hope this helps.

DONT WORRY ABOUT YOUR WEIGHT AND COUNTING CALORIES THATS HOW I BECAME ANEREXIC AND STILL STRUGGLING WITH IT! IF YOU THINK YOUR WEIGHT IS UNHEALTHY AND YOU SHOULD LOSE SOME GO TO A NUTRITIONALIST AND LET THEM TELL YOU HOW! THEY USUALLY HAVE THEM AT ANY HEALTH DEPT.

ps: you guys should be ashamed of yourselves for telling a 13 year old to consume under 1200 calories a day way to f**k up the innocent eyes of today’s youth even more so infact why dont we just make eating disorders compulsory?? they might aswell be

‘JakeHarris’ if you’re overweight and play sport you will need at least 2000 calories a day, just make sure you get it from sources that burn up fast like protein, not fat

The most successful way I’ve lost weight is through calorie counting, you need to eat around 1200 daily to loose a few pounds a week. Too loose the weight quicker, try drinking lots of water and doing excersises about 3 times a week. (:

Just eat healthy and make sure that your choices of snaks and food and the amounts are proper. Make sure you get the amount of exersise everyday and dont think too much about it. I noticed when you have fun whit it you achually loose more when you dont think about it much!

Caculate your calories every day, make sure you stay under about 1200 calories a day and only have one treat a day, I lost 5 pounds in a week from doing this, add in some Cardio and weights and you should pass 15 pounds:)

u shouldnt worry about your weight. im 13 and I weight 132 pounds. and im losing pounds!! im drinking lots of water and eating raw fruits and walking a lot. thats basicly what you really have to do. I used to weight 145! but after I started playing volleyball and not eating much fast food (which basicly in my house I have to live on to survive lol)and ran some I started to lose weight. you should completely cut out some sweet snacks but I would have 2 or 3 a week but here is one thing I stopped doing and lost most of my weight…DO NOT what SO EVER DRINK POP!!! specially Mountain Dew
