How to catch a wild 7 week old kitten

How do you catch a wild 7 week old kitten?

Answer #1

also if it already has a mother or a family, dont catch it or take it away from them. as it will just cause distress for both mother and the kitten so if you want it, first make sure its either alone, or abandoned

Answer #2

Go to your local Humane Society, or dog pound, and they’ll let you sign out a cat trap (harmless to the cat)…you’re liable to catch the mom, too…so be careful of sticking your hands in there…

Answer #3

crawl down to the cats level make kissy sounds and just look the kitten in its eyues and then I think you should fuss it when it comes close and just grab it when it is in your reach!

Answer #4

Put some food out for it. Be real gentle when walking towards it so it doesn’t run off. May soft sounds like, kissy lip noises.

Answer #5

Put some food under a milk crate or a heavy box and take a stick with a “Y” at one end and use it to hold the one end of the crate up so the kitten can walk under the crate and eat the food. the tie a long string to the bottom of the stick. When the cat walks under the crate pull the string so the crate falls…trapping the cat. I don’t know, that’s how you catch rabbits : / …just make sure the crate doesn’t hit the cats tail hah

Answer #6

Mousetrap. hehehehehe… no. —> food, or a dangly string.

Answer #7

you have to try and make it trust you before you can catch it.Make sure when it’s in sight that you show it some food and then back away .Then try and mew like a cat it some times work

Answer #8

shotgun

Answer #9

if you see a kitten or a cat, you can take a bowl of food and water- (milk isn’t good for them because it is to hard on their stomach’s) ouside and change it everyday for about 3-4 days. therefor, it will probably get use to the type of food your giving and if you get a animal trapper and put the same type of food you have been using befor and it will recognise the smell and it might walk right in to the trap and you have caught it!!! bring it straigt to the inside of your house and let it just wonder around and it most likely will get quite use to your house and you!!!
