What should I do if the kitten wakes between feeding?

well I raised kittens from birth and you have to teach them how to go to the bathroom and feed them just like a baby so between feedings see if there still hungry if not check for bathroom need then play till their tired really good luck

We have in a box with a heating pad under half so he can move if he gets to warm. About 86 f. We also have a rice bag in a sock which he loves. Yes he is orphaned. acording to other sources he is eating well for his weight, about 11 ounces now and eats 4 times a day with a bottle and kitten formula. I add a couple of drops of mineral if he does’t bm at least once a day. urine is clear most of the time. My husband wanted adivice on what to do between feedings. Piddling him and then some play and excercise is a great idea. He is walking with a litlle wobble. He’s just adorable and a joy. thanks for all of your advice. Vickie

How often are you feeding? You should be feeding every 2 hours. Also, what is the kitten living/sleeping in? What is the temperature?

Do you have a nursing bottle for the kitten ? Pet stores have them and the formula to feed them. I’m afraid you have to feed them thru the nite…Jan
