How many colors does the rainbow really have, and wich?

A rainbow is a spectrum - it covers every color in the visible spectrum. ‘How many’ doesn’t really make sense unless you want to ask ‘how many can you name?’

Technically everything is white. And there these shins of light going around the word at rediliously speed. Shining off color to them. True story,

Excuse me? I certainly didn’t report you or your answer - you’re jumping to conclusions. I couldn’t make any sense of your answer, but I certainly don’t report people just for being unintelligible.

All of them (well, except black and white). A rainbow has a continuous spectrum of colors. It’s our eyes and minds that divide them up. So nearly every color in your crayon box is there. Or maybe you think there are only 6-7 real colors so that’s how many is in the rainbow. However many colors you think there are in the world, that’s how many are in the rainbow. ROYGBIV only tells us the order of the colors: red is on one side of the rainbow, violet on the other. Before red is infrared which we can’t see, and after violet is ultraviolet which we can’t see.

thisislove28, arachnid is a well-respected user of this site who has years of history with FunAdvice and consistently produces accurate, thoughtful answers. You have been here for all of three months and have been dismissive and childish for much of that time, calling other users “losers” and “douchebags.” If you were going to pick a fight with someone, you could not have possibly chosen a worse person, with the possible exception of one of the administrators.

Arachnid may not have reported you, but I certainly will. Your behavior is appalling, and the fact that your answers are riddled with inaccuracies doesn’t help matters.
