How long will a Pregnancy test work?

I tried google, but it’s all how soon you can take one, not how long you can take one. Plus would it even work right if you’re on Depo-Provera? My doctor said it wouldnt work, but everything I’ve seen says it would. I might just be crazy or something but about a month or so ago my boyfriend was freaking out because he thought I could be pregnant because it was near the time I had to go for my next shot. He seems fine now, but he’s got me wondering about it.

But how long into the pregnancy will they work? Is there a cut-off time where they don’t read anymore? like a time limit, or could you take it at any point during the pregnancy and still have it work?

Taking a pregnancy test takes about 2 minutes. And yes, if your pregnant, it will show positive even if your on the depo shot.
