mine stay in heat for a week or two! but I have a Doberman PInscher so it might be dirrfent if you have a smaller dog

depends what kind of dog but my dog can stay for hours

3 weeks. all stages have a different name and the female does not except a mate during this whole time

Just think of it this way 21 days. 7 days coming in, 7 days in and 7 days going out. Coming into the breeding stage, 7 days in the breeding stage and 7 days going out of it. But and that is like anything with nature, she may get pregnant at any point in the cycle. Nothing is a sure deal with Mother Nature ;)
