"I would like to ask if you would be willing to write a letter of recommendation for me? the primary use of this letter will be for scholarly purposes, as well as enhancing my career portfolio. in regards of time, there are no true restrictions; the letter need not be sent out either as I will pick it up and do so myself to alleviate any unnecessary pressure.
Thank you in advance for both your time and consideration."
It seems both lacking in material and personality. or is that what one must achieve to make the proper impression?
Well it seems to be fine. I mean everyone I know has simply just verbally asked for a letter of recommendation. They usually want like a CV and a personal statement and where you're applying to. That usually is enough. Honestly, if the teacher/professor/boss knows you well enough, it's usually not a big deal.
Thanks for the critique; I am not sure why, but the sentences were capitalized, and properly punctuated.
You have been helpful, as always, ty! =)
