How do you take a picture of your computer screen?

How do you take a picture(I guess) of your computer screen? What buttons do you push?

After you press the Print Screen button just launch the Paint program. In Paint, click Edit>Paste. Then click File>Save As>name the picture.

no it wont pop up. after yew click it, go to the paint and you have to put paste. other wise it wont work hun. thats where yew view it

I pressed the PrtSc button.. but nothing popped up..
